This two-day campout style Wilderness First Aid (WFA) class is a 16-hour course that covers medical and trauma emergencies in the remote setting. You are welcome to car or tent camp at the location, or if you're local to Bend you can head home at the conclusion of class each day
Upon completion of this course, you will receive a WFA card from Adventure Medics. This course includes lots of field exercises that will give you the opportunity to practice the hands-on skills and techniques learned in the "classroom".
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
We are no longer including the CPR/AED certification in the WFA. HOWEVER. If you would like to still receive a CPR/AED certification card you may purchase a “CPR/AED Add-on” to your WFA class for a discounted price of $25.00 and attend the 3-hour class on the FRIDAY before your scheduled WFA course.
Click here to add the “CPR/AED Add-on” to your WFA package. REMINDER: *Please be sure to select the Friday before your scheduled weekend WFA class*
It is our mission to ensure that you leave us with a greater understanding of patient treatment and management in remote settings and the confidence to venture out on your next adventure with the skills you need to handle whatever nature throws at you.
