ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)



The American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certification Course is designed for healthcare professionals who participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and or other cardiac emergencies.

This course uses learning stations for practice of essential skills of simulated clinical scenarios.


This Course Content includes:

  • Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED High performance team dynamics
  • The use of closed feedback communication loops
  • Recognition of and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest and respiratory arrest
  • Pharmacology
  • Acute cardiac dysthymias
  • Stoke
  • Acute coronary syndrome (ACS)
  • Post cardiac arrest care

This is a two day course running from 9am to 5pm. Please bring the 2015 AHA ACLS provider manual with you to class. You can purchase the manual here.
