Adam brings a ton of real life experience to our Adventure Medics team. He has worn many hats over his EMS career and plays a huge role as both a co-owner and team lead on our projects. He is a certified and licensed Paramedic and has a background as a wilderness guide. Adam has worked both structure fire with local fire departments and on wildland crews throughout Oregon. When he isn’t working you will usually find him running rivers on his kayak or out on the trails exploring this amazing place he calls home.

Sinead graduated with her associates degree in social science as a paramedic from Central Oregon Community College in 2003. Previously she graduated with an associates degree of business in her homeland of Ireland. Since then she has worked as a firefighter paramedic with local fire departments, private ambulance companies and urgent care in Central Oregon. She has recently become the community paramedic for Redmond Fire Department. Sinead loves spending time outdoors and quickly realized that by joining Adventure Medics, she would be able to combine these two passions. In her spare time she loves to hit the trails with her two malamutes, Ruby and Syrus.

Nolan Howell, born and raised in Oregon, started volunteering with his local Fire/EMS department when he was 16 years old. After becoming an EMT-B, he joined the military and gained experience in trauma care as an infantry line medic. After becoming wounded in Iraq in 2006, he left the military and went back to school to become a pastor. After serving in that role, which brought him and his wife and three kids to Central Oregon, he now feels drawn back to serving the community through emergency medicine. He and his family enjoy doing many different outdoor actives, mostly together, including hiking, swimming, running, and playing outside with their dog. Central Oregon is the perfect fit for all of their passions.
Nolan’s training includes
wilderness, tactical, and urban emergency medicine
wildland and structure firefighting
technical rope and water rescue operations
Nolan is our Go to guy when it comes to team management and logistics. We cannot thank him enough for his service to our country. It also taught him invaluable skills in training, logistics, and rescue operations. Adventure Medics is lucky to have him on board.4

Kate grew up in a family of nurses in Portland, OR. A story that is dear to her heart and that possibly guided her into the medical field was when she was younger her mother would bring home syringes and she would play doctor with all her stuffed animals. Other than playing surgeon as a child she was also privileged to travel to all over the globe, a passion she still has to this day. Kate loves to hike, travel, ride horses, and is a water baby at heart. Her goal is to get her paramedic license and then hopefully transition into something similar to Doctors Without Borders, where she would have the chance to make a difference in other countries. She share's her home in Bend with one quite confused cat who thinks she's a dog.
"I would say I don't have one thing in particular I'm passionate about, but more that I just have a general passion for life"
