Wilderness First Responder Recertification

This three day Adventure Medics Wilderness First Responder Recertification (WFR-R) class is a 24 hour course that covers medical and trauma emergencies in the remote setting. The WFR-R includes a CPR/AED certification

To be eligible for recertification you must possess a current (unexpired) WFR card from a provider whose WFR course is a minimum of 70 hours (if you are unsure please email us before signing up). Proof of an unexpired certification must be submitted before the first day of class

You will start the course with a written exam, so come prepared!

Upon completion of this course, you will receive a WFR card from Adventure Medics valid for 2 years. This course includes field exercises that will give you the opportunity to practice the hands-on skills and techniques learned in the classroom.

It is our mission to ensure that you leave us with a greater understanding of patient treatment and management in remote settings and the confidence to venture out on your next adventure with the skills you need to handle whatever nature throws at you.

Cancellation Policy: Full refunds will be issued up to two weeks prior to class date. Inside of two weeks prior to the class you will be refunded 50% of cost. Within one week of class date no refunds will be issued.

Days: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Time: Friday 12:00pm - 6:00pm, Sat and Sun 8:00am – 6:00pm
Location: Adventure Medics 20585 NE Brinson Blvd #4, Bend, OR 97701; field trips off-site.
There will be a 30min lunch break each day in addition to smaller breaks throughout the day
